Logitech G combines gaming, street fashion and dance at HCMC event

Logitech G turned its annual gaming showcase in HCMC into a fashion and dance event on Oct. 7, bringing together professional players, content creators and gaming enthusiasts to experience its latest products.

Held near Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, the event featured gaming-inspired streetwear, dance performances and new hardware, with a stage illuminated in the brand’s signature blue and purple.

Themed “Play for the Breakthrough,” it was the Vietnamese edition of Logitech G’s global gaming showcase, held on Sept. 23 in Los Angeles, Warsaw and Shanghai, alongside activities elsewhere.

Beyond product demonstrations, the HCMC event explored how gaming intersects with fashion, entertainment and everyday life.

According to the company, the concept drew inspiration from a Paris fashion show influenced by the atmosphere of 1990s LAN parties.

“Many of us think about gaming through the lens of game titles, characters, global esports tournaments, or pro teams; however, fashion and esports already live in the same ecosystem. What we were looking for was a chance to breathe life into that special intersection of technology and community,” said a representative.

“It is easy to like a model in sportswear sitting on a Logitech G racing rig. It was much harder for us to express what we wanted in a dance fashion show. But Henri helped us get there, together.”

Logitech G worked with Henri Hubert, a creative director with more than 40 years of fashion experience who has previously staged shows for the brand in Vietnam. The production combined streetwear, mixed patterns, choreography and spoken dialogue, with dancers also modeling Logitech G products.

Hubert said the show aimed to celebrate “the mindset, strategy, creativity, and individuality of those behind the game screen, the ones who master the virtual world using just their fingertips and the gear that elevates their talent and rigorous training.”

“Logitech G is defining the event as a global lifestyle movement,” Hubert said.

“They seamlessly blend hardware performance and technology with an aesthetic mindset. I am just helping bring this vision to life. I love it.”

The event also marked a shift toward greater community participation compared with the 2025 Vietnamese edition, which mainly gathered journalists, content creators and distribution partners at GAM Esports’ headquarters.

TK Nguyen, CEO of GAM Esports, said gaming equipment increasingly appeals to consumers who value design and personal expression as well as performance.

“Today, people buy a mechanical keyboard or a great-looking gaming mouse even if they are not hardcore gamers,” he told the audience.

“They love the design, the lighting, the way it looks on their desk, and the way it represents who they are.”

Visitors tried Logitech G’s latest products, including the Pro X3 Superstrike mouse, G316 X 75 keyboard and G304 X Lightspeed mouse. Gaming demonstrations featured a PC racing setup with the company’s G932 and RS50 racing wheels.

GAM Esports League of Legends players Kiaya and Taki also joined content creator Hanakoishi in a friendly racing competition.

Opening the event, Sinem Erdogmus Yavuz, Logitech’s head of Southeast Asia, described Vietnam as the company’s “North Star” in the region, citing its gaming community and enthusiasm for esports.

“The passion, energy, ambition, and gaming culture here is truly GOAT,” she said, using the abbreviation for “greatest of all time.”

She also highlighted Logitech G’s partnership with GAM Esports, which began in 2018 and has accompanied the team’s development from a leading Vietnamese League of Legends team into an organization competing internationally.

Logitech G said the event was part of a broader effort to connect gaming technology with creative communities and reach audiences beyond traditional gaming enthusiasts.
