The plants will be displayed along the Succulent Path and throughout An Nhien Garden, with arrangements designed to complement the mountain landscape.
Unlike previous editions, which featured plant carpets and installations made with stone, bamboo and wood, this year’s festival will include sculptural structures incorporating living plants.

The theme draws on Buddhist principles of faith, aspiration and practice, which the organizers say represent the progression from developing belief and setting goals to pursuing them through consistent action.
These ideas will be reflected in the exhibition areas.
Visitors can also join succulent-planting activities, attend workshops on making succulent-shaped pastries and watch artistic performances.

The festival coincides with Sa Pa’s transition from autumn to winter, when cooler weather draws visitors to the northern highlands.
After exploring An Nhien Garden, visitors can take the cable car to Fansipan, Vietnam’s highest mountain at 3,143 meters. The summit area features Buddhist structures and viewpoints overlooking the Hoang Lien Son range.
Other nearby attractions include Ban May Village, which introduces visitors to the traditions, cuisine and cultural activities of ethnic communities in Vietnam’s northwest. Seasonal flower gardens feature purple salvia and buckwheat.
