LPG Price Today: Commercial LPG becomes cheaper from August 1, no relief on domestic gas cylinders, see new rate list

Commercial LPG Cylinder Price:  Hoteliers and other businesses across the country have received a major relief. Oil marketing companies have once again reduced the price of 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinders.

According to sources, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by ₹209 in Kolkata and ₹202 in Delhi, effective today. With this change, a 19-kg commercial cylinder in Kolkata will cost ₹2,872.50. Domestic LPG cylinder prices remain unchanged.

However, domestic consumers received no relief this time. The price of a 14.2-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder remained unchanged, leaving housewives somewhat disappointed. This change, effective August 1st, is expected to benefit those involved in the hotel, restaurant, catering, and food businesses.

This is how the price of LPG was this year

In the year 2026, there was a continuous fluctuation in the prices of Indane’s 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder. In January, the Indane price in Delhi was Rs 1,691.50. After this, the price increased in February, March and April and reached a record Rs 3,071.50 in May and Rs 3,113.50 in June. After so much inflation, oil companies reduced the price by Rs 183.50 in July. Due to this, the price of LPG became Rs 2,930. From August 1, the price of commercial cylinders has been reduced again. After the reduction of Rs 202, the price of this cylinder in Delhi has become Rs 2,728.

This is how LPG prices are in Kolkata

Similarly, in Kolkata, the price reached a high of ₹3,255.50 in June. Following this price increase, prices were cut to ₹3,081.50 in July. Now, after a new ₹209 price cut, the price of these LPG cylinders has been reduced to ₹2,872.50 from August 1st. Compared to June, the total reduction is ₹385.50 in Delhi and ₹383 in Kolkata. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders.
