Lucknow. In the Lucknow District Football League being held at Chowk Stadium, the teams performed brilliantly in both the matches played on Sunday. Both the matches were one-sided. In the second match of the day, Lucknow Falcons defeated Chowk Sporting Club by 5-0. Gaurav was the hero of this victory, who completed a brilliant hat-trick by scoring three consecutive goals. Whereas in the first match of the day, Techtro Reserve defeated DCA Club by 3-0.
Tektro Reserve created pressure from the start
In the first match of the day, Techtro Reserves and DCA Club faced each other. Techtro Reserves maintained a strong hold on the midfield from the opening minutes and did not allow DCA Club much opportunity to attack.
Ayan opened the scoring for Techtro Reserves in the 14th minute with a superb finish. Talib then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 28th minute.
Techtro Reserves continued their dominance in the second half. In the 47th minute, Ravindra Thapa converted a brilliant team move into a goal to score the team’s third goal. DCA Club couldn’t mount a comeback after that, and the match ended 3-0 in Techtro Reserves’ favor.
Gaurav scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 win
In the second match of the day, Lucknow Falcons Club played aggressively from the start against Chowk Sporting Club. Vihaan scored in the fourth minute of the match to give the Falcons an early lead.
Sujal then scored in the 39th minute to make the score 2-0. Gaurav’s brilliance was evident after the second goal.
Gaurav scored three consecutive goals in the 42nd, 43rd, and 47th minutes, completing his hat-trick in just a few minutes. His clinical finishing and precise positioning were the highlights of the match.
Gaurav’s hat-trick helped Lucknow Falcons register a resounding 5-0 win over Chowk Sporting Club.
There will be two matches on Monday as well.
The Lucknow District Football League will also feature two matches on Monday. The first match will be between UP Police and Cantt Sporting Club, followed by the second match between Falcons Reserve and New Boys Club.
