Complete list of rebel MPs and their strategy
The names of these MPs who raised the alarm of rebellion in Uddhav Thackeray’s camp include Sanjay Jadhav, Sanjay Deshmukh, Omraje Nimbalkar, Bhausaheb Wakchaure, Nagesh Patil Ashtikar and Sanjay Dina Patil. According to reports, all these leaders had secretly reached Delhi from different parts of Maharashtra on June 16 and stayed in a famous hotel in Noida. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde along with his son and MP Shrikant Shinde were also present in Delhi. The next morning, all these rebel MPs met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and handed him an official letter. In this letter, he had given complete information about his merger of Shinde faction with the real Shiv Sena and had also made a written request to change his seating arrangement in the Lok Sabha House.
Sanjay Raut’s counterattack and sharp attack
Amidst the news of this huge stampede and rebellion in Shiv Sena UBT, the party’s chief spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has made a very sharp attack on the rebel leaders. Sanjay Raut said in a very harsh tone that if any leader wants to leave the party, then he should first resign from his post and then go wherever he wants. He said that if such news is circulating in the media about our MPs, then those MPs themselves should come forward and refute these things with full force. Raut said in a warning manner that this time the people of Maharashtra are not going to remain silent and will teach a lesson to the traitors who backstabbed them. He alleged that Shiv Sena’s ideology is never for sale and the public is clearly seeing the real face of the leaders traveling on these chartered flights.
Flights from Delhi to different cities
After meeting the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the activities of all these MPs were kept very confidential. After completion of the work in Delhi, all these MPs left for different cities of the country including Chennai, Varanasi, Pune and Mumbai so that no one could hear about it. To be a part of this important press conference to be held today, two MPs from Chennai and two MPs from Kolkata are reaching Mumbai by air. One MP is already camping in Mumbai and another MP is present in Pune, who will reach Mumbai before time. Political experts believe that immediately after this press conference, all these six rebel MPs will meet Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and discuss the future strategy. If needed, this group can again go to Delhi and ask for another meeting from the Lok Sabha Speaker.
That meeting of Operation Tiger and Matoshree
The script of this entire big political incident had been written a few days ago during an important meeting held at Uddhav Thackeray’s residence ‘Matoshree’. The absence of these five MPs in that meeting had suddenly intensified the discussions about ‘Operation Tiger’ in the political circles. This is being considered as a very big and well thought out strategy by the group of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to bring the remaining MPs of Uddhav Thackeray into their fold. On the other hand, Sanjay Raut is continuously claiming that his MPs are being defeated either by intimidation or by luring them with huge money and power. Raut has made it clear that the organization and the loyal people of Maharashtra are never going to forgive those who are betraying the party in times of crisis. Now everyone’s eyes are fixed on this press conference to be held in Mumbai today.
