A soul-shattering rape case has come to light in a village in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, after hearing which people are very angry. Here in a village of Gulriha police station area, a 12 year old minor boy raped a 9 month old girl. The incident happened on Friday. The girl was sleeping near her mother on Friday night, when at around 2 o’clock in the night the boy took the girl away from there.

 

Gorakhpur Police has detained a boy for raping a 9-month-old girl. Police said that after the girl went missing at night, the family started searching for her and on Saturday morning she was found in a bloody condition near a tin shed in a field, about 500 meters away from the house.

Police said that the family immediately took him to the Community Health Center, where when his condition worsened, he was referred to Gorakhpur Medical College. He told that the medical examination has confirmed the rape of the girl and her condition is said to be critical.

According to the police, during interrogation, the police became suspicious of a 12-year-old boy who is also a relative of the victim. He told that when the police interrogated the boy who had come from Chandigarh three days ago, initially he tried to mislead, but later he confessed to the crime of raping the girl.

Viewed obscene material on mobile phone

The accused told the police during interrogation that he had consumed alcohol on Friday night and had watched obscene material on his mobile phone before taking the girl. Sources said that the police have found more than 50 obscene videos in the mobile phone of the accused. Additional Superintendent of Police (city area) Nimesh Patil said that the girl is being treated in the hospital and advance legal action is being taken in the case.
