‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ are just slogans, Modi government’s policies are only for big industrialists: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi. Leader of Opposition Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi met local bus and truck body builders of Rajasthan. The world-class workmanship of these skilled people should be respected, but it is a pity that they are being forced to close down under the burden of regulations. The anti-Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) policies of the Modi Government are strangulating these industries that provide growth and employment to India, but our promise is that we will fight strongly for the rights of these hardworking people, and will not let their rights to their skills be snatched away.

When small industries lose, not only the factory closes, India’s talent loses: Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi said that after meeting the local bus and truck body builders of Rajasthan, he saw an India which creates employment as well as the pace of the country with its own hands. Where their world-class craftsmanship like Ferrari and Rolls Royce should be respected and supported, they are being forced to shut down under the burden of regulations. Modi government’s anti-MSME policies are strangulating these industries. When small industries lose, it is not just the factories that close down – India’s skills lose and the hard-working artisans become unemployed. We will not let the right to this skill be taken away from them.
Sadly, the rules made by the Transport Ministry of Delhi are restricting the breathing of these small industries across the country.
