Yogi Cabinet Meeting: 28 proposals passed in UP cabinet, name of Jalalabad changed to Parshurampuri, know complete update
Lucknow. A cabinet meeting has been organized on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow, the capital of UP. 29 proposals from various departments were placed in the cabinet. Of these, 28 were approved. Whereas, a proposal related to Madrasa was postponed. Jalalabad of Shahjahanpur was renamed as Parshurampuri. Its proposal was approved.

Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna said that Jalalabad of Shahjahanpur was renamed as Parshurampuri. This place is the birthplace of Lord Parshuram. The government had made the request on 25 June 2025. After receiving the NOC from the Government of India, the Cabinet has now also agreed to this. Along with the new policy to encourage startups in Uttar Pradesh, the cabinet also approved the proposal related to establishment of UP Startup Mission under the Societies Registration Act to encourage startup and incubation startup ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.

Data center policy reimplemented
The data center policy which had expired was reimplemented today. The head of the Mission Directorate body will be the Chief Secretary. Empowerment committee will be formed. As of now, the startup policy has a prototype of Rs 10 lakh and CA capital of Rs 15 to 50 lakh. An annual grant of Rs 40 lakh will be given for operating the incubator. A startup fund of Rs 1000 crore has been kept. Of this, Rs 400 crore is from AKTU.

Animals will be insured
Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh said that many schemes will be implemented for CM Risk Livestock Insurance Management Scheme, breed improvement, livestock insurance and promotion of cowsheds. There will also be insurance for animals. Its state share is 85 percent. The price of each livestock will be fixed. The price of Murrah buffalo 75000, foreign, Haryanvi, Sahiban Giri cow will be between 50 thousand to 65 thousand. The price of bull will be 40 thousand, mule, donkey etc. 20 thousand, horse 60 thousand, sheep and goat will be 6500 rupees. The Centre’s share in insurance will be 51 percent, the state’s 34 percent and the farmer’s 15 percent. Insurance will be provided against natural disaster, illness and accident. There are 1.35 lakh cows in cowsheds. Eight crore rupees are being spent on these every day.
Labor Minister Anil Rajbhar said that a proposal for allotment of free land for the Medical College of ESIC Labor Department in Banaras was passed. In Moradabad and Gorakhpur, land of five acres each has been allotted for 100 bed hospital. A medical college will be built on 13 acres of land in Banaras. 50 percent of the land has been reserved for the children of workers. Out of total 50 seats, 25 seats will be for the children of workers.
These proposals also got approval
Apart from this, approval was also given for the establishment of Maharishi Yogi International Agricultural University in Bilhaur, Kanpur, Thakur Yugraj Singh University in Fatehpur and Ajay Kumar Garg University in Ghaziabad. Also, proposals to increase the pension of chairpersons and members of Public Service Commission, startup in Uttar Pradesh, incubation startup, changing the name of Jalalabad town of Shahjahanpur were approved.

Proposal for direct recruitment of medal winners passed
Minister Girish Yadav said that the proposal for direct recruitment of medal winners of Olympics, Women’s Olympics, Asian etc. was passed. They will be given jobs by excluding them from the process of Public Service Commission. This is for groups B and A. There will be direct recruitment for 09 posts of Sports Officer, 09 posts of District Youth Welfare Officer and 23 posts of Deputy Sports Officer. These posts have been kept for bronze and silver medal winners.
