A big political development came to light on Friday before the Nandigram assembly by-election in West Bengal. The faction led by Mamata Banerjee has announced to support Congress candidate Milan Pradhan on this seat. Mamta Banerjee said that her group will now not field any candidate from Nandigram. This decision was taken after his group's candidate Sanchita Pradhan Dey withdrew her nomination.
