Greater Noida: Many important decisions related to the development of the area were taken in the 93rd board meeting of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). Proposals related to industrial and logistics infrastructure, investment, land allotment and development works were discussed in the meeting.
'YIDA Corpus Fund Investment Regulation-2026-27' was approved in the meeting. Under this, steps will be taken towards long-term maintenance of civil infrastructure and strengthening financial sustainability in the authority area.
Allotment through e-auction for logistics park
The authority decided to go ahead with the process of allotment of plots through e-auction under the Multi-Modal Logistics Park Policy-2024. This is expected to boost logistics and industrial activities in the area.
Developing industrial and logistics infrastructure around Noida International Airport was also discussed in the meeting. Along with this, decisions were also taken on issues related to attracting new industrial investment in the area and increasing employment opportunities.
The progress of land allotment and development works in various sectors for industrial development in the Yida area was also reviewed. Special emphasis is being laid by the Authority on modern facilities and strengthening industrial infrastructure.
Focus on medical device and electronics park
Information about development works related to modern industrial facilities like medical device park, electronics assembly facility, IoT, biomaterial, common IT facility and tooling room was also shared in the meeting.
According to the authority, these decisions are aimed at promoting industrial investment in the Yida region, developing better infrastructure facilities and developing the region as a modern industrial and logistics hub.
