Why did you meet PM Modi?
Devendra Fadnavis said that one of the main objectives of the meeting with Prime Minister Modi was to invite him to inaugurate Pune Metro Line-3. Apart from this, he informed the Prime Minister about the progress of various projects going on with the help of the Center in Maharashtra. The Chief Minister also met different Union Ministers on many issues related to the Centre.

Issues related to funding, environment clearance and industrial investment for Maharashtra were discussed in the meetings with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. Fadnavis said that he informed the Prime Minister about the status of the ongoing projects in the state and also handed over a letter regarding Maharashtra's expectations for the projects being run with the help of the Centre.

Responding to speculations about joining central politics, Devendra Fadnavis said, 'Even when I come to Delhi, there is discussion. Even if I stay in Mumbai, there is discussion. I feel that whoever wants to break the stars, whoever wants to fly the balloons, whoever wants to fly the kite, let them fly that kite. I am in Maharashtra. The people of Maharashtra and my leader Narendra Modi ji have given me the responsibility of Maharashtra, I am serving the people of Maharashtra honestly and will continue to do so. He further said that many people feel that I should go to Delhi, but I tell them all that I will stay in Mumbai only.
