Lucknow. BSP supremo Mayawati, while reacting to the announcement of her friend Ashok Siddharth's retirement from politics, called the decision a late and right step. Also gave a big decision regarding Akash Anand. Mayawati has also questioned the attitude of Akash Anand. He said that Akash Anand did not consider it appropriate to repost the post related to Ashok Siddharth on his social media account 'X', whereas that post was for his own positive and well-being.

Mayawati said that earlier Akash Anand had been trying to prove his loyalty by reposting her ex-posts. He claimed that from this it seems that both Ashok Siddharth and Akash Anand are more interested in personal and family interests than the success of the party and the movement.
'How can Akash Anand do any good to the party by being double minded?'
Mayawati said that if Akash Anand is more interested in relationships than the real interest of the party and the movement and his political career, then it is natural to raise the question that how can he do good to BSP and Bahujan movement by being 'double minded'.

Mayawati said that it is better for the party people that just as Akash Anand was relieved of all the responsibilities of the important post of National Convenor of the party on September 3, 2026, in the same way now he should be made completely independent in the party. If Akash Anand wants to remain independent in the party now, he is free. That means now he has been completely freed from the party.
Call for struggle to form government again in UP
In the end, Mayawati appealed to the BSP workers to boldly face the tactics of their opponents like 'saam, daam, dand and bhed'. He especially called for gathering full strength to form a government with full majority again in Uttar Pradesh.
He said that the aim of the party is to form a government with strong law and order and better development with the policy of 'Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaay' and this goal should be paramount. Mayawati said that all the people of the party should rise above personal and family selfishness and lust for position by learning from the ideals of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram. Only then will the Bahujan Samaj become the ruling class. The greater the goal, the greater the sacrifice required.
