MediaTek’s newest flagship chip, the Dimensity 9600 Prois reportedly priced as high as $220 per unit, according to Taiwanese outlet TaiSounds, marking a new high for MediaTek’s top-tier system-on-chip. It’s important to stress the word “reportedly.” MediaTek has not publicly confirmed this number, and it comes from supply-chain sourcing rather than an official price list.
