Megan Fox did not think twice about calling out a troll for making age-shaming remarks about her.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Thursday, August 13, the American actress was quick to shut down a critic who questioned her for sharing bold snaps at 40.
Fox turned heads in the photos as she sported a leather bandeau bra top with matching chaps and string underwear, paired with a vibrant green furry coat, black shades and a chunky necklace.
However, while the majority praised her, some criticised her sultry photoshoot.
“You’re still really pretty but You’re already old. You should’ve taken your clothes off more while you were young. Nobody wants to see a 40- year- old woman almost naked,” a user wrote in the comments section, making an ageist remark.
To which, the Jennifer’s Body star had the perfect comeback for the troll, replying, “Then don’t watch, sister.”
For years, Fox has been regarded as a “sex symbol,” but the actress has made it clear that her own relationship with her body is anything but straightforward.
“We may look at somebody and think, ‘That person’s so beautiful. Their life must be so easy.’ They most likely don’t feel that way about themselves,” she told British GQ in 2021.
She added, “I have body dysmorphia. I have a lot of deep insecurities.”
