The Windsor has been a very successful product for JSW MG Motor India. Originally launched in September 2024 and updated over the years, this EV is now available in two distinct forms- the regular Windsor and the long-range Windsor Pro. Celebrating its success, MG has launched a limited-run ‘Indulge Edition’ on the Windsor, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 17.99 lakh. It comes with a unique exterior colour option- Shador Gold- and looks quite classy. Here is everything to know.
The Windsor EV has a familiar design. The same continues on the Indulge edition as well. The change, however, is the new colour option. The Indulge edition comes with a two-tone paint scheme- the body is finished in Shadow Gold while the upper part and the roof are painted Black. The 18-inch alloy wheels are Black as well. Exclusive ‘Indulge’ badges can also be seen on the C-pillars. This special edition aims to elevate the overall appeal and premium feel of the EV. The choice of exterior colours, badges, interior trims and features- all aim to achieve this.
Familiar design cues like the sharp lighting elements, closed-off grille, large headlamps, wraparound connected tail lamps, and the unique bumper designs have all been retained on the special edition as well. A few additional Black inserts can also be seen at various places.
Inside, the Indulge edition gets a new colour scheme and more premium touches. It comes with a new Black and Urban Tan dual-tone cabin design. The changes are mostly cosmetic, aimed at delivering a more premium experience. The front headrests get ‘INDULGE’ embroidery. Most of the features remain the same as those of the standard model.

However, the INDULGE edition sees the inclusion of additional comfort and entertainment features for the rear row occupants. They get a PRIVE screen (a flip-down display mounted on the roof of the car) which can be used to watch videos. This is a standard fitment on the special edition.
Additionally, the INDULGE edition also gets premium cushions and neck pillows with exclusive INDULGE branding. There is also the option to personalise further with a range of accessories like rear sunshade, themed 3D floor mats, chrome accents and even a premium leather key cover. Most of these are not exclusive to the INDULGE edition.
Most other features remain the same as those of the standard model- an infinity view glass roof, a 15.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, 80+ connected car features, 9-speaker Infinity audio, 256-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and more. The space and rear seat comfort have always remained key strengths of the Windsor EV. These continue on the INDULGE edition as well. The rear seats can recline up to 135 degrees, here as well.

The INDULGE edition continues with the same mechanical package as the standard Windsor. It uses a 38kWh battery pack and produces 100kW (136PS) of power and 200Nm of torque. This setup has a claimed driving range of 332km on a single charge. Interestingly, the long range version- Windsor Pro, that comes with a larger 52.9 kWh battery and has a claimed range of up to 449 km, does not get the special edition.
On the sidelines of the launch, Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW MG Motor India proudly announced some interesting numbers. The Windsor has sold over 80,000 units in just 24 months. That’s indeed remarkable for an EV of this size. Pricing and value-centric packaging have played key roles in shaping this success. Even the INDULGE edition, meant to celebrate the car’s success, brings good value to the table.
