After creating a stir on the OTT platform, now the fight for power in this fictional city of Uttar Pradesh is about to reach theatres. The makers released the first official teaser of ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ on Thursday, which has created a sensation as soon as it came on social media. In this film, Kalin Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Bhaiya are going to be seen once again in their old ferocious style.

The same bloody game of power, now on the big screen

This teaser released by the makers is 2 minutes 22 seconds long. In this short video it can be clearly seen that the ongoing bloody struggle to capture the throne of Mirzapur and the war for power has now taken an even more dangerous form. The film is directed by Gurmeet Singh, who had earlier also directed seasons of this very popular web series on Amazon Prime Video.

Big change in cast and entry of new faces

This time some very shocking changes and new entries are going to be seen in the film. The biggest change is that ‘Panchayat fame’ Jitendra Kumar will now be seen in the role of ‘Bablu Pandit’ played by Vikrant Massey in the web series. The glimpse of his new look in the teaser has surprised the audience. Veteran actor of Bhojpuri and Hindi cinema, Ravi Kishan has also become a part of this film. His character has been introduced in the teaser, which will bring a new twist in the story. What is the story of Mirzapur?

This entire story is based on the background of Mirzapur city of Uttar Pradesh. The real king here is Akhandanand Tripathi alias ‘Kalin Bhaiya’, who runs an illegal empire of katta and drugs under the guise of carpet trade. He is an extremely ruthless and powerful mafia don, who makes the entire city dance at his fingertips. There is a never-ending war going on between Guddu Pandit and Kalin Bhaiya to take over this empire and take revenge for his family.
