Mission Rojgar: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday strongly attacked the Samajwadi Party over government jobs and development of villages. He said that those who robbed the rights of the youth, deprived the backward classes and Dalits of schemes, created identity crisis for the youth, for whom development meant only safety, are today seen changing colors like chameleons in a new form with new slogans.
Have to be careful with them. They will conspire to push the state towards anarchy by creating confusion. Challenging SP-Congress, CM said that our target is to provide government jobs to one lakh youth in six months. They keep counting, we will keep distributing appointment letters.
Chief Minister Yogi was addressing the distribution ceremony of appointment letters of 1,375 Gram Panchayat officers selected from Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission under Mission Rojgar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters to the 11 newly selected candidates with his own hands at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Congratulating the newly appointed officers and their families, he said that around September 15, I had said that we will distribute appointment letters every week and within six months will give appointment letters for government jobs to one lakh youth. This fourth appointment letter process was completed from September 20. Appointment letters will be distributed again from the first week of October.
Mafia now walks with heads bowed in UP
CM said that there was extreme insensitivity during SP rule. Those people bound by dishonesty used to bow before the mafia, but now it is not so. Now no mafia can move with a convoy of vehicles with weapons. Today in UP, citizens walk with their chests held high and the mafia with their heads bowed. He knows that if he captures the hut of the poor and goes to demand ransom from the businessman, the work will be over. Now the mafia and their masters are scared. Providing a corruption free environment is the priority of the government.
This is Holi-Diwali for the youth
The Chief Minister congratulated the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission for completing the fair and impartial appointment process within the time limit. He said that a young man is receiving the appointment letter, but happiness is in the entire family and relatives. This is Holi-Diwali for them. The state which was sick 10 years ago, we have made it the most prosperous state with fairness and honesty. The dreams of youth need a platform to take flight and reach their destination. Your generation is fortunate to be getting this environment.
Didn’t get job even on qualification before 2017
CM Yogi said that by giving a platform to the youth, we are successful in utilizing their energy and talent for the prosperity of Uttar Pradesh. Before 2017, there was only apprehension, frustration and disappointment among the youth. Despite qualifications, jobs remained far away from poor children simply because of lack of access. In 2017, we had resolved to free ourselves from this oppression, dishonesty and mafia rule. Now UP is writing a new story of development with the talent of 9.5 lakh youth who have got government appointments.
Appointment letter on the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh
The Chief Minister also enumerated the changes that have taken place in 9 and a half years. He said that before 2017, UP was among the five most backward states, now it is in the top-3. UP has succeeded in tripling its economy, per capita income and budget. This change is the result of sincerely implementing every scheme under the guidance of PM Modi ji. Today is the birth anniversary of Sardar Bhagat Singh. When he sacrificed his life for the country, he was only 23 years old. Today, the age of many soldiers who have received appointment letters is between 20-27 years. Sardar Bhagat Singh had sacrificed his life for the country so that the lives of the youth should be bright in the times to come. On September 28, 2023, more than 57,600 villages of UP had achieved the target of ODF Plus. More than 3.32 crore toilets were constructed since 2017.
Children died of encephalitis, ministers did not go to the hospital.
CM Yogi said that in about 30 districts, hundreds of children from Dalit, backward and poor classes died due to encephalitis due to uncleanliness. In BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, four children each were admitted on a bed in the scorching heat. SP ruled four times, but the then Health Minister did not even visit the hospital. For SP, development meant only Saifai, it had nothing to do with other villages and districts. The Government of India used to give money even before 2017, but only SP people got the benefit. We definitely fight elections on party lines, but when we come to power, we give benefits of schemes to everyone without any discrimination.
Every gram panchayat is creating employment
The Chief Minister said that the three-tier Panchayat system was implemented in 1996. Since then village heads did not have offices. The system was run from his house. How could a person from the opposing party go to his house? But, the work which was not done in so many years, has been done now. Now there is also the Gram Panchayat office (Village Secretariat). There are four to six rooms. Village head, village panchayat officer, accountant, BC Sakhi etc. sit in it. There is also a digital library and conference room. The NDA government has fulfilled Gandhiji’s dreams. The village’s Beti BC Sakhi and employment servants provide facilities like birth, residence, income certificate etc. to the people. All facilities are available in the village itself. Annapurna Bhawan, Fair Price Shop and warehouse have also created employment in the villages. Community toilets are maintained by women associated with women’s volunteer groups, who also receive money. Utsav Bhawans have been built in some villages and are being built in others. People can get employment here also. Every village is creating 5-7 jobs.
Additional funds to Gram Panchayats
Referring to the torrential rains in the last 4 days, the CM said that if 65 lakh poor people had not got the benefit of PM/CM Awas Yojana, all of them would have become homeless. Despite taking all precautions, some innocent lives were lost. Taking a jibe at the SP chief, he said that those who could not do anything, they make allegations. Those who did not have the strength, he comments. Describing Gram Panchayat officers as the foundation stone, the CM said that if your position is strong then the role of Gram Panchayats will be effective. Gram Panchayat can also earn income. Whatever income the Gram Panchayat earns, the government will give it that much additional amount.
If someone steals the tap, water will keep flowing.
CM said that filth and lack of pure drinking water is the cause of disease in the village. The government eliminated filth through the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The Har Ghar Nal Yojana will reach the villages. He taunted that the youth in the villages should be trained as plumbers, so that if someone steals a tap, they can repair it. Due to theft of tap, water will continue to flow, which will cause damage to the village. The youth should have ideas, innovation and passion to make the village better. The dream of developed India will come true only when UP develops. UP will develop only when the Gram Panchayat unit is developed and self-reliant. You are going to be the charioteer to bring this vision to life.

On this occasion, Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar alleged that in the SP government, henchmen used to become active as soon as the job advertisement was released and the amount was fixed according to the post. Today one is getting government jobs without any discrimination and without any transaction.

In the appointment letter distribution ceremony, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that due to the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi, nine and a half lakh youth have got government jobs without bribery and corruption. This is a big achievement.
