Modi Govt: Big meeting of the Council of Ministers of Modi government tomorrow, work and results will be reviewed

Delhi. The meeting of the Council of Ministers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government will be held on Thursday and during this the functioning of various ministries, major decisions taken and their results and future plans and other topics will be discussed. Official sources gave this information on Wednesday.

This meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Modi will be attended by all cabinet ministers, ministers of state with independent charge and other ministers of state. Amid speculations of a cabinet reshuffle, this will be the first meeting of the Council of Ministers this year.

The functioning of various ministries and departments, recent major decisions taken and their outcomes and future plans will be discussed in the meeting. Various aspects of various government schemes and programmes, how to implement them for maximum success and other topics are also expected to be reviewed, sources said.

. The Prime Minister may mention the ongoing crisis in West Asia and its economic implications, and may give necessary guidelines to the ministries and departments to ensure minimum inconvenience to the citizens.

According to sources, special attention can be given to sectors like energy, agriculture, fertilizers, aviation, shipping and logistics in the meeting. Soon after the West Asia conflict began, Modi had directed all concerned ministries to take all possible steps to address the problems of civilians and areas affected by the war. According to sources, the government’s priority to bring reforms in all sectors for the benefit of the general public is also likely to be discussed in the meeting.
