Mojtaba released ‘revenge list’, 13 big global leaders including Trump-Netanyahu and Meloni included

Tehran. Following the death of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his son and new successor Mojtaba Khamenei has released a revenge list in his first public speech. In this online list released by ‘Hamshahri’, a national daily newspaper of Iran, it has been said that 13 big leaders of the world will be targeted. This list has come out after the six-day funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Which leaders are included in the list?

The list has been released as a graphic, showing the leaders in two categories.

  • Two people are the main targets: The ‘crosshair’ (aiming circle) of a sniper gun has been placed on the forehead of the pictures of US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
  • Other leaders in prisoner attire: Just below these, 11 other leaders are shown in orange prison uniform.

Mojtaba Khamenei, who appeared for the first time after his father’s funeral, said, ‘Revenge is the desire of our country and it will be fulfilled at any cost.’ He further warned, ‘These criminals, whose names appear in this list, will go to their graves only dreaming of dying peacefully in their beds’. However, despite this graphic being released, there has been no indication yet of the Iranian government officially approving it. Mojtaba Khamenei also did not clarify who he held directly responsible for his father’s death. It is noteworthy that Mojtaba himself was injured in the same attack on February 28 in which his father died.

  • The list comes at a time when US media reported that Iran was planning to assassinate Trump. According to intelligence reports, Israel had shared information related to a ‘specific’ assassination plot with Washington. Due to this threat, while returning from the NATO summit in Türkiye, President Trump changed his plane and traveled on an old plane. Speaking to reporters on the Air Force One plane, Trump said, ‘They want to eliminate the American leader, that is, me. I am included in every one of their lists.

This whole incident became more heated when both the sides violated the ceasefire. In response to the attacks on commercial ships, the US carried out airstrikes on about 140 Iranian targets on Sunday morning. In response, Tehran claimed that the ships had violated their right-of-way rules. Along with this, Iran has announced to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed until American interference in this area is completely ended. Let us tell you that this sea route handles approximately one fifth (1/5) of the world’s total oil and natural gas transportation.

Following the US attacks, Iran has also criticized Gulf countries like Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman. Qatar (Doha) described these attacks as a dangerous instigation of the situation, while Oman also strongly condemned the attack. Iran’s Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf wrote on the social media platform X – ‘The era of one-sided agreements is now over. We told you: keep your promise or pay the price. The reality is now in front of you.
