After this year’s Dhuadhar batting across the country, the formal departure of the South-West Monsoon has already begun. According to the India Meteorological Department, the Southwest Monsoon has started withdrawing from some parts of Rajasthan. Along with this, the atmosphere is becoming completely favorable for the departure of monsoon from Saurashtra and Kutch region of Gujarat.
According to the statistics of the Meteorological Department, the departure of the monsoon from the country this year has started two days later than the normally scheduled time. The humidity level is decreasing in the parts of North-West India and the weather is likely to become completely dry gradually as the wind direction changes. In the next few days, Monsoon will completely depart from North India including Rajasthan and Punjab-Haryana.
As far as Gujarat is concerned, rain activity has slowed down in the border areas of Kutch and Saurashtra over the last few days. Due to this change in the atmosphere, the conditions have become very favorable for the departure of the monsoon, so that very quickly the monsoon will say goodbye to these parts of the state as well.
However, on the other hand, it is possible that the rainy conditions will continue in the states of East and Central India. West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and some parts of Madhya Pradesh may still receive light to moderate rain showers due to a new weather system formed over the Bay of Bengal. But in most of the states of North-West India, the monsoon has now ended and a dry climate is about to begin with the dual season.
