Motorola expands tablet lineup

Motorola has launched the Moto Pad 70 Pro in India, adding a new premium tablet to its lineup. The device brings a 13-inch 3.5K displaya 10,200mAh battery and a bundled Moto Pen Propositioning it as a feature-rich option for productivity and media use.

The tablet was introduced in India on 27 June 2026 and will go on sale from 4 July through online and retail channels. Motorola is targeting buyers who want a large-screen Android tablet with stylus support, strong battery life and a high-refresh display.

Display and performance

The Moto Pad 70 Pro features a 13-inch LTPS IPS display with a 3,504 x 2,190 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also offers Dolby Vision support, 12-bit colour depth and peak brightness rated at up to 800 nitsmaking it the headline feature of the tablet.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Motorola has also included microSD expansion up to 2TBwhich adds flexibility for users who store large files, videos and documents on the device.

Battery and software

One of the main highlights of the Moto Pad 70 Pro is its 10,200mAh batterybacked by 45W fast charging. Motorola says the tablet is designed to handle long viewing, browsing and work sessions, while the large battery should help it last through heavy daily use.

The tablet runs Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has promised two major OS updates and security support until 2030which gives the device a longer software life than many tablets in its segment.

Price in India

Motorola has priced the Moto Pad 70 Pro at Rs 36,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. A bundled version with the Snap-On Keyboard is priced at Rs 45,999.

The tablet is available in a single Pantone Titan colour option. Motorola is pitching it as a versatile tablet for entertainment, note-taking and light productivity, helped by the included stylus and accessory support.

Position in the market

With its large display, fast processor, bundled pen and high-capacity battery, the Moto Pad 70 Pro aims to stand out in India’s Android tablet market. The combination of a premium screen and long software support makes it a strong all-rounder for buyers looking beyond basic media tablets.
