Deal made with the firm of former MLA Mukesh Srivaswat’s brother
The matter becomes more serious when political influence is involved. According to sources, the purchase of equipment and medicines for CHC and PHC that Dr. Pataria had shown in the last days of his tenure was done from the firm of the brother of Mukesh Srivastava, a former MLA from Bahraich. Even after retirement, Dr. Pataria kept making rounds of the department to get this payment done, but after the ‘game’ was exposed, the payment was stopped.
