Train full of pilgrims crashes in Nepal, woman and innocent daughter killed, 18 injured
Busted News Bureau Maharajganj :: A train filled with pilgrims from the district met with a tragic accident in Nepal. A woman and her three-year-old daughter died in this accident, while 18 other passengers are said to be injured. All the passengers were residents of Semra Raja village of Bhitauli area and were going for darshan and worship at Swargadwari Prabhunath Temple, a famous religious place of Nepal.

According to the information received, this vehicle loaded with pilgrims went out of control in Swargadwari Municipality-4 Takura area in Pyuthan district of Nepal and fell about 30 feet below the road, causing screams on the spot.
Karan Nath Maurya’s three-year-old daughter died on the spot in the accident, while his wife Nirmala Maurya (30) died during treatment in Butwal hospital. 18 people including Karan Nath Maurya have been injured in the accident, out of which the condition of some is critical.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the local administration and relief team of Nepal immediately reached the spot. The injured were admitted to Primary Health Center Bhingri, from where 17 people including the driver were referred. The condition of the two injured is said to be serious.
Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, Maharajganj district administration also became alert. On the instructions of District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma, SDM Nautanwa Naveen Prasad has left for the spot with the ambulance. At the same time, 10 ambulances have been deployed at Sonauli border, which includes 4 life support ambulances.

DM said that for better treatment and coordination of the injured, Additional District Magistrate (Finance-Revenue) has been instructed to camp in Sonauli. The medical team of the district hospital and medical college has also been put on high alert. Relief operations are being monitored by maintaining constant contact with the administration of Rupandehi district of Nepal.
The health department is also fully alert. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Navnath Prasad said that health services have been made ready at Sonauli border and the trauma center has been put on alert mode.
This painful accident has sent a wave of mourning in the entire area, while the administration is fully engaged in relief and rescue operations.
