Mumbai-Goa flight directly from Mundra Airport, preparation to become the new business hub of Western India

Adani Mundra Airport Flight Service: Taking a major step towards giving new impetus to the development of Kutch region, Adani Mundra Airport on Tuesday started its first regular scheduled flight service. This service, launched in partnership with Star Air, will connect Mundra with eight major cities of the country including Mumbai and Goa.

According to the company, the start of new air services will provide huge benefits to trade, industry, logistics and tourism sectors. Along with reduction in travel time, the region will move towards developing as an important multi-modal logistics and business hub.

Mundra connected to 8 cities including Mumbai-Goa

Apart from Mumbai and Goa, Star Air has also started flight services from Mundra Airport to Hindon, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur and Nanded. With these services, Kutch region will get direct air connectivity with major economic and industrial centers of the country.

Trade and logistics will get big benefits

Mundra is one of the largest private ports and major export-import centers in the country. The new flight services will provide better connectivity to trade flows through the port, further strengthening coordination with national and global supply chains. Experts believe that this initiative will provide more impetus to business activities along with strengthening last-mile connectivity.

The new airport is equipped with world class facilities

Mundra Airport has been developed with modern facilities. The airport’s 1,900 meter long runway is capable of handling a variety of passenger and cargo aircraft. The terminal building has been provided with spacious parking, multiple check-in counters, comfortable lounges, food court and special facilities for disabled passengers. Apart from this, dedicated drop-off zones and wheelchair services have also been ensured.

There will be coordination between port and aviation services

Adani Group says the development of Mundra Airport is part of its strategy to establish better synergy between its port and aviation businesses. This will give new heights to industry, investment and tourism in Kutch region.
