Nana Patekar Death: Veteran actor of Bollywood and Marathi film industry, Nana Patekar is no more. Nana Patekar died at the age of 75 due to a heart attack. He was taken to Manipal Hospital after he was found unconscious in his apartment in Dona Paula near Panaji. There is a wave of mourning in the film industry due to the demise of the actor. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath have condoled the demise of the veteran actor.

After the news of Nana Patekar's demise, PM Modi paid tribute to him on social media platform X on Thursday. He said, “Very few actors have the intensity, uniqueness and commanding presence of Shri Nana Patekar. He brought amazing diversity and creativity to every character and gave us characters that will be remembered for generations. He was also admired for his outspoken and forthright views; he never hesitated in expressing his views. Shri Nana Patekar's contribution to Hindi and Marathi cinema was immense. His demise is a great loss. My condolences to the family, friends and countless fans.”

CM Yogi Adityanath said in X Post, “The demise of renowned actor, powerful theater artist and sensitive social worker, 'Padma Shri' Nana Patekar ji is an irreparable loss to the art world. He enriched Indian cinema with his extraordinary acting and also expressed his commitment towards the society through his social concerns. It is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram to grant the departed soul a place at his feet and to give strength to the bereaved family members and fans to bear this grief. Om Shanti.”

Let us tell you that Nana Patekar's real name was Vishwanath Patekar. He started acting in 1978 with the film 'Gaman'. After this he made his own identity in Hindi and Marathi cinema. Nana Patekar had won three National Awards in his career. In the year 2013, the Government of India honored him with Padmashree. Nana Patekar was known for films like Parinda, Tiranga, Welcome, Abhaan, Ab Tak Chhappan.
