Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi made a huge claim about Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the important meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) held on Wednesday. He told senior party leaders that the political end of Narendra Modi has now come and his reign has entered its last phase.
According to Rahul Gandhi, the search for PM Modi's successor has also started within the Bharatiya Janata Party and the government. Media reports quoted sources as saying that Rahul Gandhi said during the meeting, “Narendra Modi's political end has come. His time is now over. Modi's rule is in its last phase and the search for his successor is continuing.”
Government forced to retreat completely: Rahul Gandhi
During the same meeting, Rahul Gandhi described the Modi government at the Center as “completely behind” (on the back foot). He appealed to all the Congress leaders and workers present to adopt a more aggressive stance against the government in the coming days.
All these big things happened during the CWC meeting held at 'Indira Bhawan', the Congress headquarters in the country's capital Delhi. In this high-level meeting, the top and senior leaders of the party brainstormed deeply on the current political situation of the country, special issues related to public interest and the strategies of Congress in the coming days.
Kharge claimed that 94,000 schools were closed
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge also addressed this CWC meeting. Making a scathing attack on the Central Government, he alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party government has completely ruined the future of the youth of the country during the last 12 years of rule.
Kharge made a shocking claim saying that around 94,000 schools across the country have been closed in recent years. Along with this, he raised a strong demand for preparing a clean, comprehensive and time-bound “roadmap from education to employment” for the bright future of the youth.
Kharge also raised questions on the donation received by Ram Mandir Trust.
During his address, Mallikarjun Kharge also strongly raised the issue of money, gold and other donations received by the Ram Mandir Trust of Ayodhya. He said that the people of the country have every right to know how these crores of donations are being accounted for and where and how they are being used.
Kharge demanded an impartial investigation into any possible financial irregularities in the matter and accountability of those responsible for it.
