Maharashtra A serious and shocking case has come to light from the BPO unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) located in Nashik, which has shocked both the corporate world and the society. It is alleged that incidents like sexual harassment, mental pressure and forced conversion have been happening with female employees here for a long time. After the police investigation, this matter has now taken a bigger shape.
After an undercover investigation that lasted for about 40 days, the police have so far registered 9 FIRs and arrested many accused. In this entire matter, the HR manager of the company is being said to be the main accused, who was responsible for ensuring the safety of the workplace. This incident has raised serious questions on the internal arrangement of the corporate system and the safety of the employees.
Who is HR Nida Khan?
HR Nida Khan is being considered as the main accused in this case, who was working as Human Resources (HR) Manager in the Nashik based unit. She is an alumnus of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and was also a member of the company’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). His responsibility was to resolve employee complaints and ensure safety at the workplace.
The victim women, whose age is said to be between 18 and 25 years, have made serious allegations against several team leaders Asif Ansari, Tausif Attar, Danish Shaikh, Raza Memon, Shahrukh Qureshi and Shafi Shaikh. According to the complaints, these people trapped them by luring them with better salary, promotion and job security.

Seeing the seriousness of this matter, the police started working in the company by hiding their identity. During the investigation of about 40 days, the officials caught the accused red-handed while allegedly misbehaving with the female employees, after which many people were arrested while taking action.
What were the allegations?
It is alleged that women were pressurized into having physical relations. In many cases, serious allegations like blackmailing and rape have also come to light. Apart from this, the victims were mentally tortured and exploited. It has also been alleged in the case that some employees were forced to offer namaz, keep fast and adopt non-vegetarian diet. Not only this, in some cases pressure for forced religious conversion has also come to light.
