Case of Bajhang district of Nepal, accused woman identified
Now disclosing the complete details and place of this incident, the police has said that this sensational case is from Bajhang district of Nepal. The accused woman has been identified as Bimla Devi Rokaya, 42, a resident of Jayaprithvi Municipality-3, Pades, Bajhang district.
According to the police, this horrifying incident took place at Pankot Bridge located in Chainpur of Jayaprithvi Municipality-10. It was from here that Bimala Devi picked up the dog and threw it into the fast-flowing Seti river flowing below. Officials of Bajhang District Police Office have taken the accused woman into custody and she is being interrogated.

Why was this dreadful step taken? Surprising reason revealed
When the police strictly interrogated the accused woman Bimla Devi Rokaya, she told her reason behind this dreadful incident. Initial police investigation and the woman's statements revealed that the dog was seriously ill for the past two weeks. The back part of the dog's body was badly rotting (festering) and a terrible smell was coming from it.
The woman told the police that due to illness and pain, the dog had become aggressive for the last few days and had started biting people passing by on the roads passing near her house. Troubled and angry by this, the woman chose this dreadful way to remove that dumb, sick animal from the road forever. Whatever may be the reason, but this kind of cruelty towards a helpless and sick animal has put a big question mark on the mentality of the society. Police is taking further legal action in this matter.
