It is said that the name GOPAL is tattooed on his hand. Apart from this, it has also been claimed that Gold Star shoe number 38 was found on the foot and a yellow bangle like thing was found on the wrist. It has been told that this item was found near Galchi Dhading Police Post. Through the post, people have been appealed to contact the local police if they recognize a woman with these signs. Where is Aarushi Gupta? The family is still waiting
The news of the disappearance of Aarushi Gupta, who is said to be related to Noida amid the Nepal tragedy, has increased the concern of the family. According to the information being shared on social media, Aarushi’s age is around 33 years and she is said to be originally from Noida. At present he is said to be living in Hyderabad. It is told that she had gone to Nepal with a group for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. He was last contacted at around 7:50 am near Rasua Custom Office on the morning of 26th August while preparing to go from Nepal to Tibet. Since then no trace of him has been found.

Another appeal related to Aarushi’s family has surfaced on social media. It has been told that her mother saw a viral video, in which a girl is seen asking for help amidst the strong flood waters. A person standing at a distance is seen throwing first a rope and then a life saving ring towards him.
‘Caught the electric wire, otherwise he would not have been alive today’
According to the report published in The Kathmandu Post, that morning had started like any ordinary day for 36-year-old Rambachan Sah of Rautahat. He was working at Shyam Sweets located in Trishuli Bazaar. This shop was his livelihood for about 15 years. Then suddenly flood water entered the shop. The flow of water was so strong that Rambachan was swept away in it. Within a few moments, he understood that it would be difficult to save his life if he did not get any support. Then his eyes fell on the electric wire hanging nearby.
He held the wire with all his strength. According to Rambachan, he remained hanging from that wire for about half an hour. There was surging water below and the last hope of life above. He told that when he saw no other way to escape, he grabbed the electric wire. He kept swinging between life and death for about half an hour. He said that if his hand had come loose from the wire, there would have been no possibility of his survival. Rambachan’s life was saved, but the second part of his story is very painful. Sangeeta, her son Rahul and another employee Binod Bhagat from the shop where he worked are still missing. Rambachan says that the flood mud may still be on his body, but the fear of that morning is not coming out of his mind.
‘I survived, but uncle’s entire family disappeared’
According to the report published in The Kathmandu Post, the life of Sachin Khati of Jhapa was also saved by a coincidence that day. Some time before the flood, his maternal uncle had sent him to another place for work. Sachin was living with his maternal uncle Raj Kumar Diyali in Syafrubesi of Rasuwa. Raj Kumar was doing jewelery business there for about 15 years. His wife Shriti and four year old son Shriraj also lived with him. On Wednesday morning, Raj Kumar sent Sachin to Chilime for work. After some time, news of flood was received. Sachin returned in panic, but by the time he reached there, the colony where his family lived had been destroyed. According to Sachin, when he returned, not even a trace of the village was left. The flood had taken everything away with itself. Sachin survived, but his maternal uncle, aunt and four-year old innocent son are still missing. Now the wait has become even more difficult for the family. Relatives say that even if there is no hope of finding them alive, at least the bodies of their loved ones should be found, so that the family can know what happened to them.
‘The flood was right behind me, I drove at full speed’
According to the report published in The Kathmandu Post, Raj Kumar Karki of Makwanpur saved his life not by taking the support of any wire or tree, but by running his car ahead of the flood. Raj Kumar was carrying a container truck. Then he heard a warning from the loudspeaker that a flood was coming. He immediately turned the truck and started running towards Galchi. But after some time they realized that the flood was running behind them. Raj Kumar tells that he increased the speed of the truck. If they looked back, they could see the flood of water moving towards them. There were many vehicles in front of them, but many of them got hit by the flood. According to him, about nine containers following them and their drivers were washed away. Raj Kumar somehow turned the truck towards the hill. This decision proved to save his life. They spent the night on the hill. From there he saw Betravati and the surrounding settlements being destroyed before his eyes. According to him, where there were houses and roads a few hours ago, now only water and debris were visible. He saw people floating in the river in front of him. The truck was saved. Raj Kumar also survived. But that scene came back home with them.
‘The whole mountain started trembling, I ran towards the forest’
According to the report published in The Kathmandu Post, Raju Budhathoki of Ramechhap was resting in his room in Timure at that time. At around 8:45 in the morning he suddenly felt as if the entire mountain was shaking. Raju thought that perhaps an earthquake had occurred. He told that there was no time to understand or think anything. He came out of the room and started running to save his life. He tried to go towards the police post, but the policemen present there were also running to save their lives. Looking back, the situation was even more frightening. Houses were falling apart. Settlements were being covered in water and debris. Within no time some houses disappeared into the Trishuli river. Raju ran towards the forest about 500 meters above and stopped there. Seeing the devastation coming from below, he could not believe that he had survived. He said that he never thought that he would get a second chance at life. Even today, that entire incident seems like a nightmare to him.
