Pune. A new controversy has come to light in the case of the death of real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal. Ketan's father Vishal Aggarwal has also suspected some members of his son's fiancee Sia Goyal's family of being involved in the alleged conspiracy. However, he has clearly said that he has not yet read the charge sheet and he will comment in detail in this regard only after seeing the documents.
Vishal Aggarwal said that he has approached the court to get a copy of the charge sheet filed in the case. He has also reiterated his demand for the Maharashtra government to issue a notification to appoint senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam as Special Public Prosecutor and to conduct the hearing of the case in a fast-track manner. According to him, he has not yet received any concrete answer to these demands.
Charge sheet of more than 5 thousand pages filed
Pune Rural Police has filed an over 5,000-page chargesheet against Siya Goyal, Chetan Chaudhary and Ritesh Hange in the case. Information has come to light that includes statements of witnesses, mobile and call records, digital material, CCTV footage and other technical evidence. According to a report, statements of about 80 to 85 witnesses are also part of the charge sheet.
According to police allegation, a fake Instagram account with the name 'Mahi' was allegedly used to take Ketan to Lohagarh Fort on June 18. Police say that Ketan was pushed into a ditch at the fort, after which he died. Siya Goyal, Chetan Chaudhary and Ritesh Hange have been arrested in this case. These allegations are still subject to the judicial process.
Father also raised questions on the news of secret marriage
Vishal Aggarwal also mentioned the reports related to the alleged secret marriage between Sia and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary. He raised the question that if there was already such a relationship or marriage between the two, then why did Sia's family try to fix her marriage with Ketan. This claim has not been independently verified in this report.
Ketan's father said that he demands that strict legal action be taken against those responsible for his son's death. At the same time, the charge sheet filed by the police in the case is now before the court and further action will be taken under the judicial process.
