Bisrakh police has exposed the gang that extorted Rs 29 lakh from a GST consultant in Noida by blackmailing it. Police have arrested five accused in the case. The entire amount of fraud has been recovered from the possession of the accused.
According to the DCP, Rs 24.50 lakh in cash and a gold chain, silver bangle and ring purchased for Rs 4.50 lakh have been recovered. The arrested accused have been identified as Kashish Chauhan alias Ishu, Rajesh Pawar, Vivek Sharma, Ankit Shahi and Anshul.

- DCP Central Noida Shailendra Kumar Singh said that on July 20, the GST consultant was going in his car with his pet dog and laptop. Meanwhile, near S Aspire Society, the accused in the car stopped him by parking their car in front of his car.
- The accused introduced themselves as GST officers and started roaming around in his car and started blackmailing him in the name of verification of fake e-way bills of two firms.
- According to the DCP, the accused demanded Rs 29 lakh from him by threatening to send him to jail in the GST case. After this, Rs 29 lakh in cash was ordered through the victim's brother. After receiving the money, the accused fled from the spot leaving the victim along with his car.
- Investigation revealed that the main accused in the case, Kashish Chauhan alias Ishu, and the victim already knew each other. Both were identified from the year 2021. Kashish allegedly knew that the victim worked in GST related work and taking advantage of this information, the accused targeted him.
- The accused used the uniform of Police Sub Inspector and Delhi Civil Defense uniform to commit the crime. Two cars and seven mobile phones were also used in the incident. Police have recovered all these items.
- According to the police, the main accused Kashish Chauhan alias Ishu is working as DCPO (Driver cum Pump Operator) in Yashobhoomi Dwarka, Delhi.
- Accused Rajesh Pawar is associated with Delhi Civil Defense, while Vivek Sharma has been working as DCPO in Escort Manesar, Ballabhgarh.
- Police has clarified that none of the accused involved in the incident is a policeman.
- DCP said that with the help of surveillance, CCTV footage and local intelligence, the accused were identified and arrested near Skon Temple on Jalpura Road. His criminal history is being investigated.
- Apart from 100% recovery of Rs 29 lakh from the possession of the accused, two cars used in the incident, police sub inspector's uniform, Delhi Civil Defense uniform and seven mobile phones have been recovered.
