Hyderabad: Noise on Wednesday expanded its wearable portfolio with the launch of the REP Band, marking its entry into the fast-growing screenless wearables segment. Designed as a health-first wearable, the device offers continuous biometric tracking, AI-powered health insights and personalised guidance without requiring a paid subscription.
The company said the REP Band is aimed at India’s growing community of health-conscious consumers seeking meaningful wellness insights rather than conventional notification-based smartwatch experiences. By offering premium health features without recurring subscription charges, Noise aims to make advanced health monitoring more accessible.
According to the company, India’s screenless wearables market is expected to witness significant growth over the next few years, driven by increasing demand for low-distraction, health-focused devices. Noise said the REP Band has been engineered specifically for Indian users, taking into account diverse skin tones, climatic conditions and lifestyle patterns. Drawing on insights from millions of users across its ecosystem, the company claims the wearable delivers improved biometric accuracy across varied real-world conditions.
Commenting on the launch, Amit Khatri, Co-Founder of Noise, said the wearable industry is evolving beyond fitness tracking towards deeper health intelligence. He said the REP Band has been developed to provide consumers with actionable health insights in a simple screenless form factor while eliminating the need for monthly subscription payments.
The REP Band features a sandblasted dual-finish stainless steel chassis and weighs 27 grams, making it suitable for continuous wear during workouts and sleep. It comes with a hypoallergenic dual-tone twill weave strap, a one-handed secure clasp and delivers up to 10 days of battery life.
For health tracking, the wearable uses a circular multi-PD, multi-LED optical sensor calibrated for Indian skin tones across Fitzpatrick skin types II to VI. Noise said the device demonstrated reference-grade heart-rate accuracy during outdoor running trials, recording a mean difference of -0.06 BPM against a Polar chest strap.
The REP Band also incorporates a 6-axis motion sensor that automatically detects activities such as running, walking, cycling, elliptical training and rowing without manual input. Through the NoiseFit companion app, users can access 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, sleep analysis, recovery scores, stress tracking, effort metrics and AI-generated daily health highlights at no additional cost.
The Noise REP Band is available in Vivid Orange, Navy Blue, Classic Black and Sand Beige. It is priced at Rs 9,999 as a special introductory offer for customers who pre-book the device.
