Rahul asked while asking- Who opened fire on the students in Delhi?
New Delhi. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his statement and said that the opposition is not interested in listening to his lecture, rather they should only tell who had given the order to open fire on students in Delhi. He said that if Shah had given the order then he is guilty and if he was not aware of it then he is 'incompetent' and in both the circumstances he should resign.
Gandhi said, recently Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge ji and I held a press conference and other opposition parties have also made it clear that we have no interest in listening to Shah's imaginary talks. We are not interested in listening to his lecture
He said, we are only interested in a simple question. And when I say 'we', I mean the young generation of this country. The question is who opened fire on the students in Delhi? Who blinded a student? Who gave the order to use sticks on the students?
Earlier, Shah on Wednesday hit back at the opposition and said that if the opposition is ready to discuss the issue related to students, then he is ready to answer every question and the government has nothing to hide. Amid the ongoing deadlock in both the Houses during the monsoon session of Parliament, which began on July 20, Shah expressed his view publicly for the first time and alleged that the opposition does not want to allow discussion.
