Poster war now going on in UP! “Azam, Atiq and Mukhtar used to run the government”

Political Poster: In these posters, Akhilesh Yadav has been politically attacked with pictures of mafia. It is written on the posters 'Akhilesh's Mafia, Mafia's Akhilesh' and 'One District, One Mafia'. According to the report, these posters have been put up in different parts of the state including Lucknow, Unnao, Etawah, Sitapur, Bareilly, Meerut, Azamgarh and Ghazipur. The special thing is that in the posters, different names and pictures have been shown according to different areas of UP – Awadh, Rohilkhand, Braj, Bundelkhand, Purvanchal and Western UP.

Through these posters, questions have been raised regarding the tenure of the SP government and the alleged criminal faces who were in the news during that period. In a poster with pictures of Azam Khan, Atiq Ahmed and Mukhtar Ansari, it is written – 'Azam, Atiq and Mukhtar, they used to run the government.' Apart from this, many names including Atiq Ahmed, Mukhtar Ansari, Azam Khan, Yakub Qureshi, Anil Dujana, Sanjeev Jeeva, Mukim Kala, Umakant Yadav and Ramakant Yadav have been mentioned in the posters.

Let us tell you that these posters not only contain the names of the mafia, but also mention allegations and incidents related to different leaders and criminal cases. Buffalo theft allegations related to Azam Khan, rape allegations related to Nawab Singh, arson case related to Irfan Solanki and alleged case related to Deep Narayan Singh Yadav have been mentioned in the posters.

At the same time, in the posters of Western UP, the name of Mukim Kala has been mentioned in the context of Kairana migration and the murder of former cabinet minister Brahmadutt Dwivedi has been mentioned in the context of Sanjeev Jeeva. In the context of the poisonous liquor incident in Purvanchal, the name of Ramakant Yadav has also been mentioned in the poster. That is, through these posters, an attempt is being made to create an election narrative by combining the old rule of SP, the leaders associated with it and the issue of crime.

Now the question is how far will the poster war go in UP politics before the 2027 elections. Will this attack of poster war be limited only to the issue of law and order and crime, or will the Samajwadi Party also respond to it in the same manner in the coming days? Because elections are still far away, but political posters have already made their place on the walls in UP.
