Tragic road accident in Odisha: 6 dead, 4 injured in bus-auto collision
Road Accident: A horrific road accident on Friday in Ganjam district of Odisha took away the happiness of many families. There was a massive collision between a speeding bus and an auto rickshaw near Ladkapalli intersection of Purushottampur police station area. Six people died in the accident, while four others were seriously injured. Two minor girls are also said to be among the dead.

The collision was so strong that the auto was blown apart.
According to media reports, the bus was going from Purushottampur towards Berhampur. The auto rickshaw was going towards Maa Simhasini temple carrying passengers. Meanwhile, there was a head-on collision between the two vehicles. The accident was so terrible that the auto was completely damaged.
There was hue and cry on the spot after the incident. Three people died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the hospital. As soon as the information was received, police and fire department teams reached the spot and started relief operations.
Treatment of the injured continues in the hospital
The people injured in the accident were first taken to Kodala Community Health Centre. When his condition became critical, he was later referred to MKCG Medical College Hospital, Berhampur, where his treatment is going on. According to police officials, all the victims of the accident are said to be residents of the same village. At present, efforts are being made to identify the deceased and contact their families. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the area after the accident.
