Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain said the government’s priority was to ensure that investment commitments translated into projects on the ground, employment and improved livelihoods. “Our focus is not only on attracting investments but also on ensuring that they translate into projects on the ground, employment opportunities and improved livelihoods. Through sustained investor engagement and effective project facilitation, we are working to strengthen Read’s industrial ecosystem and ensure that the benefits of growth reach our people,” Swain said.

Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries, Home and Information & Public Relations, said effective implementation was central to the success of investment promotion. “The real success of investment promotion lies in implementation. We are focused on facilitating projects, addressing investor requirements and strengthening coordination so that investments can contribute to industrial capacity, employment and local economic development. The upcoming ceremony reflects Read’s continued progress in turning investment commitments into tangible outcomes,” Sharma said.
