If you click on the link, your bank account will be empty. But there is no reason to panic. If you remember only 3 things no one can fool you. 1. Check the link first – see the URL
Thieves create fake websites that look like big companies. such as Amazon If they have a site, they will make a site called Amazon. Looks exactly the same. This is called phishing. How do you know? Before buying anything from any site, check its link above. That link should start with https://. The 's' in this stands for Secure. A lock icon appears next to that link. If it is, then the site is safe. If you see a misspelling in the link, like something like flipkart-offer-loot instead of flipkart, then don't enter your mobile number or bank details by mistake. 2. Don't save card, use UPI
What many of us do is save our debit card or credit card on the app in a hurry while making the payment. Because next time will be easier. But this is the biggest mistake. If that shopping site gets hacked, all your card information will be in the hands of thieves. So what to do? When you make the payment, select the option called 'Tokenization'.

3. Apply two locks and don't click on unnecessary links
Sometimes you get a message on your WhatsApp or Instagram, “90% discount, click now” or “You got a free gift”. Do not click on such a link by mistake. If you click on that link, a virus comes in your mobile, which is called Malware. It steals all your bank information.

To avoid this, keep all shopping apps and bank apps with Two-Factor Authentication. That means even if someone knows your password, they won't be able to open your account, because they will need your fingerprint or OTP. And always download apps from the official Play Store only. Do not download any app from external link.
