What will be special about the new website?
The new ticket booking website of Indian Railways will not have the same advertisements and graphics as before. In the new website, passengers will not have to click on different classes like Sleeper, Third AC, Second AC to see the seats. Users will get seat information on a single screen.
Along with this, IRCTC has reduced the online ticket booking process. Now the ticket can be booked by following few steps. The details of the passenger will be saved in the website. Due to this, the passenger does not have to fill the information every time while booking the ticket. The current website of IRCTC often crashes as soon as the instant ticket booking starts, due to which passengers face many problems. So again a new captcha has to be requested.

Beta version of the new website
The public beta version of the new ticket booking website can be released by July 15. The Railway Board has said that many improvements have been made in its beta version.
