Technology Desk: Oppo is preparing to introduce the new ColorOS 17 update for its users soon. This new software of the company will be based on Android 17. According to reports, Oppo can launch ColorOS 17 by the end of this month.

New design will be available in ColorOS 17
Oppo ColorOS design director Chen Xi has given some hints related to the design and animation of ColorOS 17 on the social media platform Weibo. This shows that in the new update, users may get to see a different and smoother interface than before. A new navigation bar can be given in ColorOS 17. It will be placed at the top of the app screen to give a consistent look across the interface.
'Fluid Fusion' will make animations smoother
One of the most special things about the new update is said to be the Fluid Fusion animation engine. With its help, transitions between different screens will appear smoother than before. Oppo has also shown a glimpse of a new feedback system. In this, the app screen can show slight stretch and squeeze effects according to the user's touch and other interactions. This can make the experience of using the phone more interactive.
'Liquid Acrylic' design will look like Apple
A new design named Liquid Acrylic can also be seen in ColorOS 17. Transparent elements like glass and light effects will be used in this. Its look may resemble Apple's Liquid Glass design to some extent. However, Oppo is preparing to present it in a different style in its interface.
New experience will be available on lock screen also
Some features of the previous version will also be retained in ColorOS 17. Live Activity Bar has appeared on the lock screen in the teaser. Through this, users will be able to see information about different activities going on on the phone directly from the lock screen. Apart from this, changes can also be seen in the animations seen when notifications are removed.
Will Find X10 series get the update first?
According to reports, Oppo Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max may be among the first smartphones to get the ColorOS 17 update. The new ColorOS 17 can also bring with it many new features of Android 17. Currently the Android 17 update is available on Google Pixel 11 series. In the coming time, other smartphone brands including Oppo can also release stable versions of their custom UI.
