Oppo is rumoured to launch its Reno17 series in China next month, but a new leak suggests that the lineup may not include a Pro model in India. The standard Oppo Reno17 is expected to retain much of the design and hardware of its predecessor, the Reno16, with a larger battery potentially being the main upgrade.
A leaked hands-on image of the Reno17 has also surfaced online, offering an early look at the upcoming smartphone.

Oppo Reno17 Specifications Leaked
According to the latest leak, the Oppo Reno17 could use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset as the Reno16. The phone is also tipped to retain the triple rear camera setup found on its predecessor.
One of the key upgrades could be the battery. The Reno17 is reportedly being tested or planned with a battery capacity of 7,000mAh or more, although Oppo has not confirmed the specification.
The smartphone is also expected to run ColorOS 17.
Will the Oppo Reno17 Pro Launch in India?
The latest report suggests that Oppo may launch the standard Reno17 without a Pro variant in India. However, the situation could be different in China, where the Reno17 series may still include a Pro model.
An earlier leak suggested that the lineup could feature two models with different display sizes, with one of the devices equipped with a 200MP primary rear camera.
It remains unclear whether these specifications will apply to the Indian lineup or only to models launched in China. Oppo has not officially confirmed the number of devices planned for either market.
Oppo Reno17 India Launch Timeline and Expected Price
The Oppo Reno17 is tipped to launch in India in early January. The leaked price range is between ₹60,000 and ₹70,000.
The company has not announced an official launch date or price. These details should therefore be treated as rumours until Oppo makes a formal announcement.
