Owaisi said- Bulldozer’s sword on 36 mosques-madrasas in Thakurdwara, taunted on MLA Nawab Jaan
Moradabad. In the politics of Uttar Pradesh, the arrows of statements often hit the target, but when Asaduddin Owaisi is on the stage, the edge of the attacks becomes sharper. In a huge public meeting held in Moradabad, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) national president Asaduddin Owaisi took on both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party. He raised sharp questions on the bulldozer policy of the Uttar Pradesh government and the silence of the opposition.
In fact, in this rally in Moradabad, Owaisi’s target was especially Samajwadi Party MLA from Thakurdwara Nawab Jaan Khan. While raising local issues, Owaisi gave such a statement from the stage, which has created a stir in the political circles of Western UP.
Danger of bulldozers on 36 religious places: Owaisi
While addressing the public meeting, Asaduddin Owaisi cited an alleged list of the Revenue Department. He claimed that the Revenue Department has prepared a list of about 36 madrassas, mosques, graveyards and tombs in Thakurdwara Assembly constituency, on which bulldozers are being prepared.
Owaisi said that when the sword of action is hanging on so many religious and social places of the area, then the public representatives there are sitting silent. Owaisi’s reference was clearly towards the SP MLA of the area.
‘If you can’t fight, at least use your tongue’
Making a direct attack on SP MLA Nawab Jan Khan, the AIMIM chief said, “What is Thakurdwara MLA Nawab Jan Khan doing on this issue? If he cannot fight the government for the rights of his people, then at least keep his tongue moving.”
It is being told that Owaisi’s taunt was on the stance of Samajwadi Party, which he has often called wavering attitude on Muslim issues. He asked the public that for how long will they trust such public representatives who maintain silence in times of crisis.
AIMIM Chief lashed out at both SP and BJP
In fact, Owaisi has been trying to increase his party’s support base in western Uttar Pradesh for a long time. In the rally in Moradabad, he not only criticized the policies of the ruling BJP but also put SP in the dock. According to the local people, there was a huge crowd in the public meeting and it became clear from Owaisi’s attitude that in the coming elections, AIMIM is going to use its full strength to make a dent in the traditional Muslim vote bank of SP.
Now it remains to be seen what response Thakurdwara MLA Nawab Jan Khan and Samajwadi Party give to these serious allegations of Asaduddin Owaisi.
