The automobile sector in India will soon witness a big movement. The country’s leading car manufacturers Maruti Suzuki, Honda and Toyota are gearing up to launch their new and updated cars in the Indian market in the coming days. Maruti Suzuki has opened bookings for its updated Brezza, while Toyota and Honda are also set to launch the Hilux and ZR-V Hybrid respectively.
1. Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift
Maruti Suzuki will launch the updated version of its popular compact SUV Brezza on July 24.
Design and Features: The exterior design of the new model will see major changes, including new LED lights, a re-designed grille and a new bumper. The cabin is likely to get a large touchscreen infotainment system, advanced connected car features and other state-of-the-art amenities.
Engine: The car can be optioned with a 1.0-litre ‘Boosterjet’ turbo petrol engine. Apart from this, the current 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will also be available.
Booking: Bookings have been opened for customers at a token amount of ₹11,000.
Competition: This car will challenge the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

2. Honda ZR-V Hybrid
Honda will make its premium SUV ZR-V Hybrid fully imported and available for sale in India.
Engine and Mileage: The car is powered by a 2.0-litre e:HEV strong hybrid system, which generates 184 PS of power and 315 Nm of torque. It is claimed that this SUV will deliver a good mileage of 22.79 kmpl.
Features: The car will get advanced safety features like 9-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-speaker Bose audio system, 8 airbags and level-2 ADAS.
Price: It is expected to be priced around ₹45 lakh ex-showroom and bookings have already started.

3. New generation Toyota Hilux
Toyota will officially launch its new generation Hilux pickup truck in India on July 28.
Look and Design: This new pickup truck has been given a more aggressive look. It will get a bigger grille, sleek LED headlights, new bumper and new alloy wheels. The interior will see a re-designed dashboard inspired by the ‘Land Cruiser’ models and a larger infotainment screen.
Engine Capacity: In the international market, this model is available with 48V mild-hybrid diesel technology (2.8-litre turbo diesel). It is highly likely that the same powerful engine will be offered in the Indian variant as well.
