Crash Test: Maruti Brezza facelift wins the crash test, gets 5-star rating from BNCAP
Crash Test: Maruti Suzuki has launched its popular compact SUV Maruti Brezza facelift in the Indian market. Even before the launch, Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) crash test of this SUV has been completed and its results have also been revealed. The new Brezza facelift has achieved excellent performance in terms of safety and has achieved a 5-star safety rating.
Got 5-star rating in BNCAP crash test
According to the results released by India NCAP, the Maruti Brezza Facelift has performed well in terms of both adult and child occupant protection. On the basis of this strong score, the SUV has been given a 5-star safety rating.
Excellent performance in protecting adult passengers
In the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) test, the Brezza Facelift scored a total of 30.41 out of 32. It scored 14.41 points in the frontal impact test and 16 points in the side movable barrier test, which reflects its strong body structure and safety technologies.
Also tops in child safety
The SUV scored 43 out of 49 points in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) test. It scored 24 points for dynamic test, 12 points for child restraint system (CRS) installation and 7 points for vehicle assessment score (VAS). This score shows that the new Brezza is a reliable SUV from the point of view of child safety as well.
New Brezza Facelift will be launched tomorrow
Maruti Suzuki will officially launch the Maruti Brezza Facelift in the Indian market on July 24. Many important changes can be seen in the updated model with design, features and technology, while in terms of safety, it has already received 5-star rating from BNCAP.
Will compete with these SUVs
In the Indian compact SUV segment, Maruti Brezza Facelift will compete with popular SUVs like Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros and Tata Nexon.
