All these projects are targeted to be completed by the year 2030 and a total of Rs 16,465.41 crore will be spent on them.
The government believes that with the construction of these roads, the connectivity between North and South Bihar will become stronger. With this, the problem of traffic jam will reduce and tourism, business and industrial activities in the state will get new momentum.
Sultanganj-Bhagalpur Ganga Path
The first project is proposed in Bhagalpur area. Under this, about 40.8 km long four-lane Ganga Path will be built from Sultanganj to Bhagalpur. Munger Ganga Path Project
The second project will be developed in Munger district. About 42 km long four lane road will be prepared from Safiabad to Ghorghat via Bariyarpur. This will cost approximately Rs 5,119.8 crore. This project will not only ease traffic but will also boost local trade and industrial development.
Digha-Koilwar (JP Ganga Path Extension)
The third and most important project is related to the capital Patna. Under this, JP Ganga Path will be expanded from Digha to Koilwar (Bihta), whose length will be approximately 35.65 kilometers. About Rs 6,495.78 crore will be spent on this. This extension will reduce the traffic pressure in Patna and people going towards Bhojpur and Bihta will get fast and easy travel facility.
New direction for development of Bihar
After the completion of these three Ganga Path projects, there will be a big change in the road structure of Bihar. While better connectivity will make travel easier for common people, it will also give new energy to investment and economic activities in the state.
