Pakistan Bomb Blast: This time’s big news is coming from Pakistan. A horrific bomb blast has occurred in a crowded market in the north-western part bordering Afghanistan. According to police, a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle laden with explosives, killing at least nine people. Meanwhile, 35 other people have been injured.
Let us tell you that this attack took place in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Local police chief Azmat Ullah said the explosives were planted in a rickshaw, which was detonated in the middle of the market. At least 9 people have died in this blast. Let us tell you that two traffic police officers and a woman are also among those who died in this blast. Apart from this, more than two dozen (24) people have been seriously injured.
Doubt on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan
At present, no terrorist group has taken responsibility for this bomb blast. However, the main suspicion rests on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as the Pakistani Taliban.

It is noteworthy that both TTP and the Taliban government of Afghanistan are different groups, but both are considered ideological allies of each other. In recent years, TTP has intensified its operations and attacks against Pakistani security forces.
Attacks have happened before too
This attack has taken place at a time when a few days ago another major terrorist attack took place in Bannu district located near the same province and late on Saturday night there was also a suicide bombing and firing on a security post in Bannu, in which 15 police officers were killed.

The Pakistan government had also directly held TTP responsible for that attack and a senior Afghan diplomat was also summoned by Islamabad (Pakistan government) in protest against this incident.
