Pakistan is a Bhasmasur… India’s strong attack in UN, said – Why are you surprised when your own created monster bites?
United Nations: From the platform of the United Nations (UN), India has once again slammed Pakistan in very strong words on the issue of terrorism and Kashmir. India has directly accused Islamabad of harboring and using terrorists and termed it as “Bhasmasur country”.
Anupama Singh’s befitting reply to Pakistan and OIC
When Pakistan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) forcibly raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir during the discussion on the annual report of the United Nations High Commissioner, Anupama Singh, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, gave a befitting reply to them under the ‘Right to Reply’.
Anupama Singh said, “We completely reject the baseless and malicious allegations of Pakistan and the OIC. Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will always be an integral and inseparable part of India. The only unresolved issue is Pakistan’s illegal occupation of Indian territories, which it must return.”
‘The Defense Minister himself proudly accepts the policy’
Indian diplomat exposed the double character of Pakistan and said that any illegal occupation can be maintained only on the basis of force. He taunted that this is a country whose current Defense Minister proudly admits to harboring, training and deploying terrorists and calls it his ‘government policy’, yet Pakistan calls itself a victim of terrorism. Singh said, “This is a paradox that only Pakistan can maintain. It is a living example of the ‘Bhasmasur country’, which is shocked when its own created monster starts biting it.
Attacked the conditions of poor Pakistan
India also sharply attacked the internal conditions of Pakistan. Anupama Singh said that fundamental freedoms have ended there and the situation is so bad that today when people demand food, electricity, basic rights and respect, they have to face bullets and brutality.
Called Indus Water Agreement ‘irrelevant’
During the speech, India also made its stand completely clear regarding the decades-old Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan. India said the treaty was suspended after the Pahalgam terrorist attack in April 2025 (in which 26 people were killed). Now this treaty has become completely irrelevant. The Indian diplomat made it clear that a country which resorts to terrorism as its official policy cannot continue to demand the privileges of cooperation based on goodwill and friendship. Any treaty signed in 1960 cannot be considered as a permanent right which is beyond accountability.
India’s last advice: Concluding his speech, the Indian diplomat said that instead of keeping an evil eye on Indian territories, it would be better for Pakistan to put its own house in order, so that it and its own people can benefit.
