The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming Women's Asia Cup and Asian Games 2026. Fatima Sana has once again been appointed as the captain of the team. Fatima Sana, who missed the T20I series against Sri Lanka due to participation in 'The Hundred' tournament, is now back in the team.

India-Pakistan will clash again

The 2026 Women's Asia Cup is being held in Dubai from August 28 to September 13, with a total of eight teams participating. Pakistan has been placed in Group 'A' along with India. Pakistan will begin their Asia Cup campaign against Thailand on September 1. This will be followed by a high-voltage match between India and Pakistan on September 5. After this, the 2026 Asian Games will be held in Japan from September 19 to October 4.

Sadia Iqbal and Gul Feroza return

Apart from captain Fatima Sana, Sadia Iqbal and Gul Feroza have also returned to Pakistan's Asia Cup squad. Sadia was not included in the squad for the Sri Lanka tour, while Gul Feroja was not involved in the T20 series. PCB has also announced the names of reserve players along with the main squad. Tasmia Rubab, Humna Bilal, Maham Anees and Sadaf Shamas have been included in the reserve list.

Pakistan has named a total of 12 players in its squad for the Women's Asia Cup and Asian Games 2026. Fatima Sana will be the captain in this. So, the players included are Ayesha Zafar, Gul Feroja, Iman Naseer, Momina Riasat, Muniba Ali, Nashra Sandhu, Saira Jabeen, Iman Fatima, Shawal Zulfikar, Tuba Hasan, and Taumm-e-Hani.

Meanwhile, Naziha Alvi, Sadia Iqbal and Wahida Akhtar, who were part of the Asia Cup squad, are not included in the Asian Games squad list. Alia Riaz, Humna Bilal and Tasmiya Rubab have been included in the Asian Games squad in their place.
