According to a report from Crypto Briefing, X has complied with 83 percent to 98.8 percent of content removal requests from governments during Musk's ownership. This rate varied depending on the period reported.

    This compliance rate is higher than the rate under X's previous management, the report said. X is also working towards providing more transparency regarding its recommendation system. The company has supported efforts to open-source parts of its recommendation technology. This gives researchers and users the opportunity to understand and examine how content is ranked and how posts are delivered to more or fewer people.
