In an in-house interview with Bayern Munich on pre-season, Aleksandar Pavlović revealed what it means to play for his childhood club.
“I already had the club in my heart when I joined FC Bayern at the age of seven,” the midfielder told the FC Bayern interviewer.
“Growing up in Munich, I was always a Bayern fan, and I went through every youth team at the club.
“It wasn’t until the U-19s that I first realized I had a real chance of making it as a professional player for my favourite club.
“Today, it’s truly special for me, a dream come true, to play for my home club,” he added, before discussing his goals for next season.
“I want to play with courage. I want everyone to see that I’m afraid of nothing and no one, and to show the world what I’m capable of.
“I want to control the game, project composure and authority. I want to bring my teammates into the game and work tirelessly for the team,” he added.
