‘Peaky Blinders’ team releases emotional statement following Sam Neil’s death
Sam Neil’s sudden demise has left the entire Hollywood fraternity in shock as it is being considered as a big loss for the industry.
The 78-year-old actor is widely known for being a significant part of the Jurassic Park franchise.
Besides that, he is also recognized as Chief Inspector Chester Campbell in Cillian Murphy led Peaky Blinders.
After the news of his death went viral, the team of Peaky Blinders came forward to express their grief over the devastating loss.

An emotional statement was released by the team through Instagram remembering the late actor’s hard work and dignity.
While offering their condolences, the team said in a joint statement, “We are devastated to hear that Sam Neil has died.”
“Sam’s portrayal of Chester Campbell is one for the ages. A villain who is despicable, petty, manipulative, but also charismatic, vulnerable, funny and supremely entertaining to watch.”
“Sam was one of the key forces that got Peaky Blinders off to a running start, for which we will be forever grateful. Our love and thoughts are with his family.”
Neil played the role of Campbell in season one and two of Peaky Blinders, led by the Oppenheimer actor. His character was killed off in the finale of season two.
